First Black Mormon Polygamist

Brigham Young wore many Hats. He had to make a determination during the Debates on Slavery in regards to which side Utah would take. In 1832, Elijah Ables, was called as the first African American priesthood holder by Joseph Smith to be a Seventy. Shortly after that, they were cast out of Missouri for wanting to abolish slavery. When the Saints started their journey out west in 1847, an African American convert named William McCrary began practicing Polygamy and taken on multiple white women as wives. 1835 D&C 101:  https://www.josephsmithpapers.org/.../doctrine-and.../259 "Inasmuch as this church of Christ has been reproached with the crime of fornication, and polygamy: we declare that we believe, that one man  should have one wife; and one woman, but one husband, except in case of death, when either is at liberty to marry again." Brigham Young removed it from Utah LDS group D&C in 1875 “I commenced revising the history of Joseph Smith at Brother Richard’s office: Elder Heber C. Kimball and George A. Smith were with me.” Brigham Young -History of the Church 7:389 Have you seen examples of the corrupted Utah LDS church under polygamist Brigham Young trying to change the church history? It is literally right there for all to clearly see. Here is a quick example of Oct 5, 1843 where they changed what Joseph said entirely!: Joseph Smith's journal entry - Noting that Joseph forbids the practice of plural marriage (handwriting – Williard Richards)  https://www.josep...
