The 1st religious Armed Conflict in American History? Are Mormons Christian?

From my limited life span with the LDS Church of 10 years, I under the impression that Mormons were another Christian denomination. From my research of the first vision accounts, Joseph Smith began talking about the priesthood restoration and the two personages almost 8 years after the supposed start date of the Bicentennial anniversary of 1820. Other Christian political leaders such as Missouri Governor Boggs Extermination didn't look at these doctrinal developments of establishing Zion in their State favorably. The Missouri Extermination order to "shoot Mormons" is one of the examples in LDS church History that we can point to as a religious armed conflict with the state. As a result Jospeh Smith formed the first military battalion of Latter Day Saints aka The Nauvoo Legion. He was going to run for president and was already acting as the Mayor of Nauvoo and founder of the Freemason Lodge by 1832. It is around this time that the church was also moving away from mainstream Christianity with the D&C 76 revelation shedding light of the role the two heavenly personages mentioned in the first vision. The endowment ceremony further moved the Latter Day Saints towards Arianism. No surprises that Jesus in 1832 introduces a new line to the first vision account, “all their creeds are an abomination” and quotes Isaiah 29:13 Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me ...<—- The Isaiah quote followed by the command to not join any of the churches is unique to the 1832 first vision account. Sounds to me that Joseph Smith was employing the Islamic rule book, rule “if you’re not with me, you’re against me” mentality. During this period The LDS church became very antagonistic towards other Christians and were planning to leave the United States and become refugees in Mexico by moving westward passed Missouri. When I went to Carthage, I learned that Joseph and Hyrum were expecting an armed conflict with guns loaded they were ready to open fire if anyone broke into the jail cell to kill them. He had a symbolic Freemason death of falling out of the window. Like in Islam, The restoration took two directions after the death of the Prophet with Emma Smith reforming the church back to the Nicene creed and Brigham moving towards Arianism. If you look at the Sunni and Shiite Muslims Abu Baker is not of the blood Line but Ali is from the blood line of Muhammad. The R-LDS followed the blood line of Prophets one succeeding the other till recently. I have been to the Kirtland temple and noticed that Crosses used to be in LDS buildings once upon a time. The sacrament had vine to represent the blood of Christ. Then it all became an abomination post 1832. All in all, We can build Zion where we are according to the knowledge of the commandments God has given us. No one’s religion is an abomination. God is just and He will judge us according to Romans 2:12
